Packing & Materials

One of the most critical aspects of any move is the quality of the packing, handling and packaging materials used. Our fully experienced Baxter staff have been extensively trained in using the latest packing techniques.

For any move overseas, all the packing will take place in your home on the day prior to moving. Baxter only use the best available new materials to protect your belongings whilst in transit. They include:

• Waterproof padded blanket furniture wrap
• Acid free tissue paper
• 6mm Bubble wrap
• Reinforced cartons
• Wardrobe cartons for hanging your clothing
• Smaller cartons for heavier objects
• Larger cartons for lighter objects
• Purpose built wooden boxes for treasured possessions and works of art
• Jiffy foam and extra strong sealing tape

If you want to pack some of your private or personal items yourself we can provide you with all the packing materials you need as part of your quotation. Any personal packing needs to be completed before our packing team arrives.

Working from our barcode inventory every item will be clearly labelled with your name, item and reference numbers and final destination details. You will then be given the final numbered inventory containing the content information of each item packed to add to your 'Move Guide'. This list enables us to track your belongings until delivery to your new home.
